MY WORK

Don’t let the business name intimidate you. I started out primarily operating a bulldozer. Back then, most sites in Issaquah were larger and well-suited for bulldozing and grading operations. However, with suburban growth and increased density in the area, more compact equipment has become essential. Over time, my business has shifted to focus primarily on residential projects for homeowners and property owners, with less emphasis on commercial jobs.

To meet this changing demand, I’ve added compact equipment to handle sites with limited space. The combination of the 35C excavator and Deere 317 skid steer has proven to be ideal. Paired with the Ford LN 8000 dump truck for importing and exporting materials, this setup allows me to efficiently tackle a wide variety of projects.



COST SAVINGS

Most of my jobs are for home or property owners. Because I have the right equipment I able to perform landscaping tasks for far less than landscapers using manual labor and lighter equipment. Time and time again clients will remark how economical I am in comparison to the quote they may have received from a landscaping firm.

Having the equipment and skill set to know the correct application is a key to my success and cost savings to my clients.



MY STRENGTHS

Once I accept a job my objective is to assure client’s satisfaction. “Do the job as required, in the time frame allowed for the price established”. Using this simple framework has resulted in a 100% satisfaction rate. In some cases earthwork for home owners can be stressful as it can be difficult for homeowners to visualize the end result and having heavy equipment on their property is a rarity. As each project unfolds I communicate closely with homeowners during the course of the project to make collaborative decisions to assure the final outcome meets their requirements. Once a job is complete knowing the customer is satisfied is important to me.



RIGHT PERSON, RIGHT EQUIPMENT

For the right person renting equipment can be an option for completing a project. In my experience by the time a person rents the equipment and becomes proficient at using it hiring Cascade Dozing would be more economical and efficient. Why, because I select the right piece of equipment for the job and bring years of experience with me. More than once I have finished up a job the homeowner started and could not complete as they had planned.
